Current Dwelling: Sevierville, TN
There is a reason Alexis Adams won Most School Spirit in high school. She loves community and is proud to call Sevier County, TN her home.
Alexis attended Carson Newman University where she studied everything from Art to Nursing to Education to eventually, Human Services. During her time at Carson-Newman, she created a faith-based student organization called iYada for all girls looking to have a place to grow and serve with a purpose. Within the first year, iYada had grown to 2 other colleges and 2 high schools. Alexis quickly became a leader and role model for young woman and began speaking at many different events.
Through, iYada, serving with the Baptist Haiti Ministry and her many travels to Bulgaria and around the Southeast, Alexis discovered her deepest passion in life is helping others.
As the Outreach Coordinator, Alexis has taken the lead on developing a way for The Wander Trees to help give back globally as well as locally. In her free time, you can find her running up the Chimney Tops in the Smokies, sketching some trees or getting lost in a book written by her favorite missionary, Elisabeth Elliot.
